I guess it would have helped if I would have followed his recipe instead of the one on the back of the corn syrup bottle.
But I will definitely use his recipe the next time I bake one!

My First Pecan Pie
I baked my first pecan pie last night. It turned out pretty good, but definitely not as good as my dad's.
I guess it would have helped if I would have followed his recipe instead of the one on the back of the corn syrup bottle.

No on the crust. . .totally store bought in the frozen section!
