In true Halloween fashion we have started with a few decorations outside . . . straw bales, fake rats, pumpkins. Inside, well, the only decorating so far is kleenex and theraflu.
We have both been sick since Friday, and we have both felt dead to the world. It's pretty sad when your skin hurts to the touch, and it takes all the energy you have to lift a glass of water to your mouth.
I was lucky enough to only have my fever hit 100. Jeremie, on the other hand, is still fighting a fever that hit 101.9 tonight. I will be able to go back to work tomorrow. He will still be at home (which sucks since he owns his business and doesn't have an employee).
Rose (my sister who is a principal) said that the only flu going around right now is the H1N1 flu and not the seasonal flu. At least now we'll have started an immunity to it, right? Well, that is, if I can get Jeremie's fever to go down. If it doesn't break sometime tonight, than I guess he'll be going to the doctor tomorrow.
Maybe we'll have the house decorated in time for Halloween (invitations to the costume party are in the mail). Last year we were in Denver so we didn't even bother decorating. Sure would be nice to be in Denver again. I kind of like it there.

You know you're always welcome! We'll miss having you two around to hand out Halloween candy with us. It has already snowed here though, so I doubt we'll have the same mild weather!
Hope you're both feeling well soon.
xoxo
