Countdown

In 11 hours, I will be in surgery to take care of my tenosynovitis (trigger finger). I will finally not be in pain in my finger (hopefully).
It's so annoying. I've had a back issue for five years, and my finger has annoyed me more it seems. Or maybe it just seems that way.
The doctor said that the surgery itself will take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, depending on how much damage is in there. Or longer if the nerve is damaged. I'm hoping to be home in time for lunch . . . a Dairy Queen Blizzard sounds good:)
