Hot tub adventure

Friday night, Jeremie and I got into the hot tub thinking we'd get to see the Lyrid meteor shower. We never saw the shower but did see a racoon. There is a big cedar tree 20 feet from our hot tub. It's about 80 feet tall. We had the jets turned off which we never do. So we heard some scratching up the tree. Jeremie grabbed the flashlight and aimed it up the tree. We saw glowing eyeballs. And we saw branches swaying. I said it was a gust of wind. But I knew what it was. We watched the critter move up through the tree, only by seeing the branches move, and seeing his glowing eyes. After awhile, the critter got annoyed with us shining a bright light at him. He decided to quickly descend. That was our cue to quickly leave the hot tub.
