Blackmouth Season

Today is the first day of Blackmouth season in Marine Area 7 (our area). For those of you who don't know, a Blackmouth is a young Chinook (or King) Salmon. I would very much like to catch one, so hopefully Fisherboy and myself can take out "Heads or Tails" (our boat) and go fishing.
I went fishing with Uncle Hank a few weeks ago for Steelhead on the Stilliguamish River but we had no luck in catching any. It was pretty cold (36 degrees), and we stood on the river bank for nearly 7 hours. We arrived at 6 a.m. (I should have been sleeping on my day off!).
I tried a couple of days later with a coworker up on the Nooksack for a few hours but we didn't catch anything either.
Hopefully (soon) I can post a picture of me catching some fish and not just talking about catching fish.
