THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY . . .
(Jeremie does it better)
I went to my very first Monster Truck Show last night. We went up to BC Place Stadium and I would just like to say that I really wish Vancouver the best of luck when the 2010 Winter Olympics come to town because it was CRAZY up there on a Saturday night!
Lets start of by saying that we only had about a 25 minute wait at the border, but with six people in our vehicle we were bound to get pulled off to the side and have to go in. Yep. After about an hour and a half (total time, which is still pretty good), we were on the road again.
There's just something exciting about watching these giant toy-looking trucks with bouncy wheels smash over cars and buses. And when they go straight up in the air and look like they're going to crash over sideways or backwards they get higher points than when they have full control. (Kind of like the real reason we go to hockey games isn't to watch the hockey . . . it's to watch the fights.) Makes me wonder if the U.S. really does want peace in other countries when we are so obsessed with violence (i.e. video games, hockey, cage fighting, etc.)
