The news people around here really make me laugh sometimes. I watched two different weather forecasts last night (one on KCPQ which is the news we seem to like to watch 'cuz it comes on at 10 p.m. instead of 11; and the other was KOMO and Steve Pool, who has come to annoy me as of late). One station said we'd get a trace more snow overnight and high winds. He was very concerned about the "high" winds. The other said we could get 3-6 more inches of snow and it would be breezy. Now to me, breezy and high winds are two different things. To me, breezy means you can wear a baseball cap and it'll stay on your head; high winds means trees and branches will be falling.
(For the curious, at 11 a.m. the 2 inches of snow we got since 5 p.m. yesterday is now melting and there is no breeze, except for the nice warm air coming out of our heater vents as Roxy will show you).
