Yet ANOTHER Home Improvement Project

Home ownership kind of sucks sometimes. But than I look out the kitchen window and see all the space we have.

Last summer we upgraded some electrical, including putting in power for when we get a hot tub (Cocoochin Bellingham!). We never really put the laundry room back together after that because we were trying to decide what we wanted to do with wall space (add cabinets or make a bar). We finally decided on making our own cabinets instead of buying pre-made ones. So Jeremie went in and moved all the "stuff" out of that room (except the washer and dryer) and began to rip wall paper off. In so, he discovered a horrible mess . . . the plumbing (what's up with the plumbing in this house?) had leaked in the wall. It had been leaking for years (we bought the house in May of 2005, and this was leaking well before that).

Needless to say, our upright freezer that was in there is now in the kitchen, as well as the washing machine. The dryer is out in the garage (we would have stuck the washer out there but we were afraid of it freezing), and all the misc. crap is spread throughout the house, most of it on the floor in the theatre room.

Not to talk too much politics, but the only good thing that George W. has offered us is a little bit more of our own money back. We're looking forward to our check, Mr. President.
