An Ode to Valium
You are so little
yet bring so much peace.
If the world ended right now
I would not care the least.
The smile on my face
is long and wide
When the needles pricked my back
I should have cried.
But the small little pills
make me happy and glad.
Since I like Valium
does that mean I'm bad?

Was the excitement of the sun just too much for you? Sounds like a happy, peaceful floaty good time. I want to play! Was this for an acupuncture treatment?
Cortizone shots (2) in my lower back. With the good improvement that I've been having with physical therapy since January, we thought it would be a good idea to see if I get a longer period of no pain. And I don't like needles so they give me an Rx for a couple valium to take 45 min. before the shots.
Woohoo for Valium. : ) And for nicely rhymed poems too...
