Slacker

I'm such a slacker! No one knows what's been going on for the last three weeks or so in our lives here in Bellingham.

So, here's a quick update:
We've taken down the greenhouse in the back yard, since it was falling down anyway (my plan is to put a raised garden in).
My grass is growing in the front yard (I planted some grass in the "bare" spot from when we had to dig it up to replace sewer pipes).
We didn't catch any fish on our sturgeon trip (the season has been really bad, but my brother-in-law Eric had a HUGE one on but after fighting it for 15 minutes it came off the hook).
We had a handful of cherries grow on our little tree this year . . . they were delicious.
We found a use for our many empty cat litter buckets . . . they make excellent tomato pots once you poke holes in the bottom.
I had my family reunion/campout over the weekend of the Fourth. There were 80 people there, including a bunch of kids! (My family sure can reproduce!) Our fireworks show lasted over an hour this year. And all of them were awesome!
In the last 24 days, I have only taken 3 pain pills for my back (but the muscle relaxants are still going strong). But having to do pilates and stretch every day is kind of annoying.
Our pool is nice and cool on our hot summer days. Maggie has even taken a few laps in it with us.

That's a breakdown of what's been going on. I'll try to do a better job of keeping up to date.
