Most of our energy has been getting sucked away with this economic plague. All I can say right now is that our finances are sucking in a big way. Every day I leave work thankful to have a job.
Everyone in our families is doing great. And our animals are doing great, too. Maggie got a much needed bath this weekend and is really fuzzy. She also has a sprig of fur at the top of her head that won't stay down.

Last weekend was Assumption Catholic School's Annual Auction and we had Miriah over for a slumber party that night. We played some cow racing on the Wii, as well as Wii Music where we play different instruments and are supposed to play to certain songs (well, we didn't sound very good playing Chariot's of Fire, but we sounded like a chariot ON fire). We also made some super-tasty wings (the recipe calls them Heroin wings 'cuz they are so addictive, but my sister doesn't like me to call them that) for dinner and washed the wings down with some yummy beers (mine is the only true beer: Jeremie and Mirah have Thomas Kempers root beers). After playing some more Wii, we got into our pajama's and ate lots of popcorn while watching the movie Monster In Law.

Other than that, not too much excitement around here. Unless you count that awesome snow we had last week. I enjoyed seeing the flakes fall, and also enjoyed the quiet streets the next morning. But the cold weather doesn't do Jeremie's business any favors, so I guess I need to be like our friend Anne and curse Mother Nature (and/or the groundhog) until the warmer weather comes around and stays. However, as I write this, it is quite sunny out and a comfy 52 degrees, with a good amount of wind blowing, though.
