Work Party

We spent this past weekend (along with most of my other siblings, their significant others, nieces and nephews) doing yard work at my parents' house. Mom and dad had a specific list of things they wanted done, and we weren't allowed to do anything that wasn't on the list without prior approval from both of them.
You see, the problem with the last work party we had there a few years ago (when they were on vacation), apparently we did things they didn't want done and threw out things that they wanted to keep. I don't remember doing that, but oh well.
We did get to take down some "trees" (they were more like large stumps that were killed off by excess ivy and, as we soon found out, termites) that weren't on the list.
Jeremie and I took our trailer down on Friday night and camped all weekend at their place since we had my nephew, Tyson, 16th birthday party to go to on Sunday.
It was a fun weekend, despite getting stabbed in the arm by a branch and being sore the next day.
Jeremie and Jared are peeling away ivy.

And some of the nice re-design of one of the many sections in the garden.

Here's Jeremie and Tyson pushing down one of the said "trees". Jared came in at the last minute to add the extra ooomff to knock it over.
